Josh is an entrepreneur and Emmy-winning technologist with a track record of innovation and leadership in the media and entertainment industry, with a focus on content production, management, and distribution. Josh co-founded and led Sample Digital, where he developed and patented Digital Dailies, a web-based streaming solution that revolutionized the review and approval process for film and television production, receiving a Primetime Emmy Engineering Award for this achievement in 2013.
Josh has also held executive roles at Box, Final Draft, Deluxe Digital Distribution, and Secure Path Technology, where he launched and managed cloud-based solutions for content creation, identification, and metadata management. Josh is also the founder of HaveNeed, a social impact-oriented barter marketplace for goods and services with the goal of fostering a circular economy and creating economic empowerment; and the founder of HOOZIN, an all-in-one group event management app.
Additionally, Josh has provided strategic consulting services to clients including Microsoft, Avid, Factual, Fujitsu, Motion Picture Domain Registry (.film) and Scripto. Josh is an alumnus of USC’s School of Planning & Development.
